Size 6inch, pressure rate class 150, LUG type tapped holes, clamping between flanges according to ANSI B16.5 class 150, valve construct is triple offset type, the butterfly valve is with stainless steel steel: The material body material stainless steel A351 CF8M, disc material stainless steel A351 CF8M, stem material 17-4PH, disc sealing ring SS316+graphite laminated.

The technical standards as below:

Basic design and manufactured API609

Fce to face dimension as per API609 short pattern B type

Ed flanges dimension as per ANSI B16.5

Test and inspection as per API598

Because the material is austenitic stainless steel , and end user do not have special requirement about painting, we proceed as per API standard and no painting to valve. And anti-rust coating shall be applied to valve bore, raise face ( serrated face ) and disc surface.

The SS butterfly valve carried out hydro testing as per international standard strictly, no visual leakage found during testing.

The detail testing pressure and duration as below :

3.0Mpa by water for shell testing, duration 60s.

1.1Mpa by water for high pressure seat testing, duration 60s.

0.6Mpa by air for low pressure seat testing, duration 60s.  

The valve can be open and close smoothly under pressure, valve function is ok.
